Autotask’s Biggest Year Yet (so far) In Review!

It has been a busy and exciting year at Autotask – and it’s not done yet. The Autotask team has been executing on all cylinders–moving the business forward, improving the overall customer experience and changing the game in the channel with the introduction of a human-centered user interface and the acquisition of an award-winning, cloud-based RMM provider, CentraStage.  As Autotask moves into the fourth quarter, the company continues to build on this momentum and is set to close out 2014 as another strong year of growth and expansion.

Here’s a list of noteworthy achievements over the past three quarters:

  • 2014 Metrics that Matter Survey reveals ITSPs still losing 20 hours billable time every month due to lack of automation. 1,300 ITSPs in from around the world participated in the Autotask 2014 IT Service Provider Benchmarking Survey. Key findings, included:  54% of IT companies say security tops their clients’ concerns and 77% are hiring more to support new client requests.
  • Getting closer to customers with the opening of two new U.S. regional offices in Southern California and Dallas. Having a devoted sales and technical staff on the ground in key locations means customers can work directly with their local Autotask team to take full advantage of their investment.
  • Autotask Community Live! 2014 in Miami was a huge success. Autotask hosted one of the most successful Autotask Community Live events to date with more than 900 industry insiders, customers, partners and media in attendance. On November 11, Autotask will host its first Autotask Community Live! event in Sydney, Australia for our Asia-Pacific customers. 
  • Powerful partners: Autotask acquired by Vista Equity Partners. With support, access to resources and additional capital from Vista Equity Partners, Autotask plans to accelerate its growth and expansion as well as broaden its technology offerings, both regionally and internationally.
  • A new user interface designed for the way customers work; puts data at fingertips of ITSPs. At Autotask Community Live, the new user interface was previewed by customers and partners and received rave reviews. Highlights of the new interface include a configurable, role-based dashboard environment that allows users to drill-down to the data they need in real-time.
  • Acquisition of CentraStage adds RMM/Endpoint Management capabilities to Autotask. CentraStage provides a highly scalable, cloud-based architecture that enables customers to monitor and manage all of their endpoints (servers, PCs, smartphones, etc.) with complete visibility and control of their entire IT estate.  Integrating these capabilities with Autotask will help customers more effectively manage and scale service operations.
