Organizations' views about cloud security continue to evolve. Many consider security to be better in cloud versus on-premise environments, according to the findings of a new survey, commissioned by cloud security and disaster recovery-as-a-service (DRaaS) specialist iland and conducted by Enterprise Management Associates. The survey of 100 IT decision makers and security experts who use cloud infrastructure and/or DRaaS technology in North America reveals that despite using more security tools in the cloud than on premises, IT teams still face risks due to staffing and skills shortages, which makes it difficult to integrate and manage those tools.
