MSPs Can Learn an Important Lesson from The Last Jedi

Just like Luke Skywalker in the Last Jedi, business owners can feel burned by former employees.

Many MSP business owners, at one time or another, have taken a salesperson under their wings to train them.  After many years of training and an investment in time, some of these salespeople turn to the dark side by leaving and switching to a competitor. Naturally, this can cause you to hesitate when it comes to training new salespeople.

In the movie, Luke Skywalker is reminded that failure can be the best teacher. Assuming everyone will eventually turn to the dark side means you may miss out on finding true Jedis that can have a positive impact on your business and help you succeed.

If you’ve considered giving up hiring and training salespeople for fear they may turn to the dark side, put in place a sales training process that protects your business’ interests.
