Autotask Corporation is seeking highly motivated Software Performance Engineer to join one of the fastest growing Software as a Service companies in the Northeast in our Product Development department.

Job Summary
The Software Performance Engineer will help us innovate and enhance the flagship Autotask product.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assess and profile current core Autotask products to identify opportunities to improve software performance
- Lead development and/or perform hands on development to address performance issues
- Establish and improve performance engineering processes as part of the SDLC
- Work with architects and developers to proactively engineer the product to meet performance requirements
- Work with the quality team to establish performance benchmarks and execute stress / load testing
- Work with product design to ensure new web pages will meet performance standards
Qualifications:
Successful candidates must have the following skills and experience:
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with web based and database centric applications
- Experience in a Microsoft development environment: C#, VB.net, ASP.net, MS SQL, etc.
- Experience with various Internet technologies and design patterns
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, motivation and a desire for continuous improvement
