Regional Field Sales Manager

Job Summary:

Regional Field Sales Managers (RFSM) are responsible for prospecting and identifying new account opportunities in the SaaS market for IT Managed Service Providers (MSP) and Internal IT users. RFSM’s are expected to be able to deliver effective presentations, and demonstrations, to help manage and further their relationship with a prospect from lead inception to close. RFSM’s should have the capability of working with all levels within a prospects’ company; with a focus on C Level Executives.  They are expected to work with Partners to collaborate and enhance the opportunity for a sale. RFSM’s should stay ahead of the curve, keeping up with industry knowledge and up and coming trends in the SaaS market. 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Proactively sell the Autotask Services Automation Solution to the IT Managed Services Market and the Internal IT Service Market.
  • Prospect for and identify new account opportunities to build a robust pipeline
  • Deliver effective presentations and demonstrations, and manage the customer relationship from lead inception to deal close via face to face, telesales and internet based tools
  • Sell directly to C Level Executives in the SMB, emerging and Intermediate marketplace. Our Prospects’ company size will be from 100 to 5,000 employees  
  • Deliver scalable monthly sales forecast and reports
  • Responsible for achieving monthly sales objectives/quotas
  • Extensive travel within territory plus required regional and national trade shows
  • Responsible for CHANNEL sales including coordination of internal resources for resolving Partner and end-user related issues, assignment and follow of sales leads to Partners as appropriate and find, cultivate and develop new Channel opportunities and Partners within our market space
  • Employees may be required to perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of successful B2B field software sales experience
  • Must demonstrate senior level sales forecasting, selling and closing skills, and have proven successful in developing new accounts
  • History of successful quota or sales objective attainment required
  • Excellent Executive-level presentation skills with the ability to uncover, or demonstrate the need to motivate senior management with urgency
  • Candidate must possess a consultative selling style
  • The candidate should also be a motivated, self-starter excited by new technologies, who is goal-oriented, a high achiever and excels in all that they undertake
  • Experience with short sales cycles and selling into a highly competitive environment is desirable
  • Knowledge of Internet technologies and understanding of the ASP business model
  • Knowledge of the IT, Professional Services, CRM, or ERP markets, or Internal IT  is desirable
  • Experience selling on demand, web hosted software applications is desirable
  • Resident in Geographic Territory (Dallas), initially home based with planned movement into local office space work environment
    • Fluent or native speaker in Spanish and/or Portuguese is highly desired for Dallas assignment.
  • Must have a car and be willing and able to travel to customer and meeting sites, 50-75% of the time
  • Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSP), Software Providers, IT Consulting, Large Internal IT Organizations a plus
