RICHMOND, England - Mark Banfield, Vice President of International at Autotask and the business’s UK managing director, joined the board of one of the UK’s leading IT industry trade associations. Mark joins the board of Comptia's channel community executive council (UKCC), where he will help shape Comptia’s key initiatives for the coming year. As part of CompTIA, the UK IT industry’s trade association, the UKCC executive council represents the vendors and distributors that make up the UK IT channel and works on a number of key initiatives every year, which are voted for by its members.

The council will be announcing its goals for 2015 in the coming weeks.

UKCC members have access to a wide range of benefits, including: educational resources, training materials and workshops, legal resources and the community itself for peer-to-peer networking.

"I am honoured to be selected to a team of top-level executives from across the full spectrum of the UK IT channel to take on the challenges that are unique to the IT market,” said Mark Banfield, Vice President of International at Autotask. “CompTIA is leading the way with training, mentoring and channel growth within the IT industry and Autotask’s Smart IT principals align perfectly.”
