Autotask® Chosen as Preferred Supplier to Ingram Micro
Autotask "Preferred Supplier" Status Gives More Than 700 Ingram Micro Services Network (IMSN) Members Superior Tools to Run Their Service Businesses Better
RENSSELAER, NY - Autotask Corporation, a provider of web-based business management software for IT service providers, today announced it was chosen as the preferred supplier for Ingram Micro North America (NYSE: IM), supporting the service management needs of the Ingram Micro Services Network (IMSN). The IMSN is made up of more than 700 plus IT service and solution providers in Canada and the U.S., marking Autotask's largest customer alliance to date.
"Autotask has experienced explosive growth helping IT service businesses run better. This partnership with IMSN is the latest in many customer wins and partner alliances secured over the past year. Our team has doubled the amount of licenses sold and users supported on Autotask, in turn, allowing us to double the size of our workforce to serve this new customer demand," said Autotask chief executive officer, Bob Godgart. "Our relationship with Ingram Micro is a strategic win for Autotask and is further evidence of our vision to place Autotask at the core of the IT service supply chain."
Ingram Micro and Autotask have set an agreement in place to refer IMSN members to Autotask. As the IT Channel's premier professional IT labor service organization, IMSN members will benefit from Autotask's proven customer relationship management (CRM), project management, customer service, service dispatch, time tracking and billing, and recurring managed service contract capabilities to more effectively run their service businesses.
In addition, Autotask Corporation teamed up with Ingram Micro to design and develop a new Web-based service management platform called IMOnsite™, completely replacing IMSN's existing professional service automation (PSA) system by the end of this year. IMOnsite will streamline work order management, provide technician selection and service scheduling, support automated billing and Canadian currency and provide real-time reporting on IMSN service operations. In short, IMOnsite makes doing business easier for IMSN members and provides instant access for all Ingram Micro solution providers to use IMSN's proven professional onsite IT labor service professionals and expert technical practice groups to augment their own service capabilities.
"Real-time service management data is essential for our solution providers to deliver world-class professional services to their small, medium and Fortune-sized businesses throughout North America," said Justin Crotty, vice president, channel marketing, Ingram Micro North America. "Autotask will provide our solution providers with a competitive edge in customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery. We chose Autotask's Web-based business management software as a preferred supplier to the IMSN because we believe Autotask creates the next level of collaboration and best practice sharing to maintain and leverage IMSN's position as the IT channel's leading professional service delivery organization."
