Autotask® Wins Top Honors At Major Industry Event
Presents New Data on Most Important Business Issues for IT Service Providers

RENSSELAER, NY - The Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), the leading trade association for the global information technology (IT) industry, recently recognized Autotask Corporation as a company that has "demonstrated creativity, innovation and leadership in the technology sector."

Autotask was among 13 organizations presented "best of show" awards at the CompTIA Breakaway 2006 and CT Summit conferences held earlier this month in Orlando, Fla. Award winners were selected based on the voting of some 300 VIP value-added resellers and technology solution providers who participated in the two conferences.

"Each year we use the occasion of our annual Breakaway and CT Summit conferences to recognize some of our industry's best and brightest," said John Venator, president and chief executive officer, CompTIA. "Our challenge gets greater each year as our industry continues to find new ways to use technology to change our lives for the better. The fact that these companies were singled out by their reseller partners for special recognition is testament to the quality of the products, services and solutions they are providing to their customers."

Autotask was recognized for the Best Presentation at the CompTIA Breakaway Conference. Bob Godgart, CEO of Autotask, presented the results of Autotask's latest research - five round table discussions held at the CompTIA Breakaway Conference. Participants discussed the most frequently mentioned business problems that IT service providers face. In addition, participants ranked those business problems on a scale from 1 to 5, where 1 is Mission Critical and 5 is Not Important.

The results revealed that improving profitability was considered mission mritical by 75% of respondents, and customer service and support were viewed as mission critical by more than half of the participants. In addition, 100% of respondents agreed that improving profitability, optimizing resource utilization, and account management and business development were considered to be important, very important, or mission critical.

Participants also ranked the top five most important attributes of IT business management software. They were, in descending order of importance: affordability, integration, accessibility, automation, and connectivity.

Founder and CEO of Autotask Bob Godgart says, "We are delighted to receive this award, but we are even more proud that members of our industry chose to share their understanding of critical issues with us. Their insights will help Autotask to serve them better."
