#AutotaskChat: Millennials in IT

January 19, 2015  By Jason Lehr

On Tuesday, January 13, Autotask’s Jason Lehr director of technology and infrastructure hosted our first Twitter chat (#AutotaskChat) to discuss millennials in IT. Jason asked about:

•The perks millennials value most in the workplace
•The skills they bring to a company
     •Their experience with technology
•How companies can make millennials feel welcome and valued

Those who participated in the Twitter chat also asked some great questions including:
    • How do millennials differ from senior staff?
    • How important is money to millennials compared to other perks?
    • Do millennials have different expectations in the workplace compared to their older counterparts?

The highly anticipated Twitter chat provided some interesting insight from Gen X, Gen Y and even some brand voices. Below are a few highlights from the discussion.

Thanks to all who joined our first #AutotaskChat. Stay tuned to the blog and @Autotask for information on our next chat. Happy tweeting!
