According to Canalys, global shipments of hybrid devices rose by almost 200 percent in 2015 and are set to accelerate further in 2016 and 2017 as business migration to the touch-friendly Windows 10 platform begins in earnest. Hybrids may offer solution providers an easy win in projects where users need the functionality of a tablet combined with the productivity of a notebook.
