2017 Year in Review: Autotask Milestones

It has been quite a year! Thanks to our amazing community for their continued support and passion for our products. You are the reason for our success and growth. We are excited for what comes next following the official closing of our merger with Datto

While we gear up for an exciting 2018, we wanted to take a minute and share a quick look back at this year’s highlights. 

Community Events 
Autotask Community Live Europe
: More than 400 attendees joined us for networking, business building and tips and tricks to maximize their investment in Autotask solutions. 

Autotask Community Live: Hollywood, Florida graciously welcomed more than 1000 attendees to this year’s event. Special guest President Bill Clinton gave a memorable keynote address, exotic animals roamed about, incredible food was at every turn, there was insanely good networking with new peer-to-peer forums, more sessions led by industry insiders and a wealth of business building insights were shared all in an effort to help you “raise your game.”    

Product Milestones 
New Ticket UI Released:
One of the biggest milestones of 2017. The ticket underwent an extreme makeover to help you be more productive and improve service delivery. Substantial new capabilities were added to enhance the ticketing experience with easy to navigate, intuitive presentation of data and configurability to automate business processes .

New Version of Autotask Endpoint Management: Based on your feedback, network management capabilities were revamped to provide a more streamlined approach for managing both devices and networks for clients. This also saves you time with easy discovery and audit for network devices, increases network visibility to better understand what is being managed and improves efficiency to deliver better service delivery with the remote control capability .

Company Highlights
Metrics that Matter™ 2017
: More than 1,000 respondents participated in the fourth year of the Autotask benchmarking study conducted by Decision Tree Labs to assess what issues, trends and opportunities are impacting global IT service providers and MSPs. Key findings included: 

  • 44% of respondents said security is the #1 priority for clients and a top revenue driver 
  • ITSPs are wasting up to 10 billable hours each week on manual processes that can be easily automated
  • 63% of this year’s survey respondents said the total number of endpoints they’re managing increased by up to 50%
