Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

The Level I QA Automation Engineer develops automated tests through the use of QTP and other test Automation tools. You will manage the execution and maintenance of these automated tests and will report to the Senior Manager of QA.

A Look Inside the Job:

  • Execute the automation test scripts and report issues
  • Design, implement and maintain the automation test scripts & automation framework using Selenium and Ready API (Web services automation)
  • Participate in test script review and provide valuable feedback to make improvement
  • Communication of Quality-related processes including testing status of projects/defects to Automation Team Lead
  • Accurately documents, and prioritize defects and guarantee that defects are addressed within the development lifecycle of major releases and service packs.
  • Development of appropriate test data, where required.

About You:

  • Experience in at least one programming language, such as Java, C#, C/C++
  • Experience in software testing and automation testing preferred
  • An understanding of quality processes and methodologies
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and other business-related software and the ability to query databases using SQL to measure and qualify potential defects
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm and a desire for continuous improvement
