Autotask Corporation, the world’s leading provider of hosted IT business management software, today announced that Mark Cattini, president and chief executive officer, will deliver an address at Canalys Channels Forum APAC 2012 occurring 30 October – 1 November, 2012, at the Ritz Carlton Millenia in Singapore. The event follows the company’s introduction of its software in Chinese earlier this year, and its recent expansion of operations in both Beijing, China and Sydney, Australia.

“Changes in the availability and delivery of new technologies, especially the proliferation of cloud-based services and mobile applications, are rapidly shifting the way small and medium sized businesses consume technology and this creates enormous opportunities for IT service providers worldwide,” stated Cattini. “This evolution makes it possible for solution providers to deliver an entirely new range of managed services and consulting to better meet the needs of their clients, and to develop more predictable and more profitable revenue streams for their own businesses.”

Cattini noted that this transition can be difficult to manage for many service providers, particularly when they are focused on maintaining day-to-day business operations with myriad back-end tools that are not designed for the task.

Autotask Pro is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering that integrates a broad range of critical business systems including customer relationship management (CRM), service desk, tech scheduling, project management, billing and reporting, and provides real-time service delivery intelligence to help users understand the factors driving their business. The software is specifically designed to automate and optimize mission-critical business processes for technology solutions providers.

Autotask launched localised versions of its award-winning software for Italian, Spanish, French, German, Chinese and Japanese in early 2012.

“Delivering and supporting localised solutions worldwide is a key differentiator for Autotask, and our client base around the world has grown tremendously as a result,” said Mark Banfield, Vice President of International Sales at Autotask. “We have established a solid network of sales, implementation, and support professionals to ensure our clients can deliver best-in-class service and grow their businesses.  We currently have more than 100 staff across Europe and Asia, and plan to double that number in 2013.”

Autotask software is currently used by tens of thousands of IT service providers, value-added resellers (VARs) and managed services providers (MSPs) in 57 countries.

Cattini’s presentation at Canalys Channels Forum APAC 2012 will take place on 1 November 2012 at 9:00 am.  Regional Sales Directors and staff will also be available, and the company will have a stand at the event for live product demonstrations and meetings.  To learn more about Canalys Channels Forum APAC 2012 visit
