CRN 2016 Channel Chiefs Announced
Autotask's own Senior Vice President of Community & Business Development, Len DiCostanzo, has been named a 2016 Channel Chief by CRN. The 2016 Channel Chiefs list is an annual roundup of the top channel executives and what they've been doing to ready their channel programs for 2016.
Autotask has introduced a partner programme built around Autotask Workplace (AWP), its file sync and share product, which sees the company sell via the channel to its MSP customers.

Autotask Launches Partner Program for AWP
IT management software provider Autotask this week launched a new partner program for technology service providers to add Autotask Workplace (AWP) to their services portfolio.
Autotask has created the Autotask Workplace Partner Program to give technology service providers (TSPs) the technical, sales and marketing resources they require to easily add a file synch and share offering to their services portfolio. Autotask Workplace (AWP) provides capabilities that help increase collaboration, document security and mobile productivity for end users, while providing recurring revenue opportunities for partners.
Within the very crowded market for cloud-based file sync and sharing services, the encryption buzz s growing louder. Some upstarts say they now offer better or more intuitive security than base consumer offerings.
Autotask Corporation has been named the preferred IT Business Management Platform provider for Millennium Micro’s consortium of over 260 Canadian Technology Service Providers (TSPs) and MSPs.
IT service providers that have recurring revenue as part of their business models are continuing to reap the rewards, as well as a continued jump in demand for managed services to serve growing remote workforces, according to the results of an annual IT benchmarking survey by software manufacturer Autotask.
An Autotask study found endpoint expansion is now the top services driving revenue, coming in ahead of backup and restore and disaster recovery in the rankings.
Autotask, an East Greenbush, New York, software developer, plans to add 50 sales employees in 2016.
